Please clarify if we are talking about a certified objection from the leaders of the PA House and Senate on behalf of the PA legislature OR ...

a few score of PA legislators signing a group objection not officially of the legislature as a whole.

I read only 77 or so of 253 state legislators signed.

Not trying to be a downer here but it’s possible Justice Alito in talks with other Justices was advised to change the response date to avoid the ‘Safe Harbor’ argument.

“I read only 77”... ?

You mean... 77 legislators...

Or Act 77... ?

Just a coincidence ?

Anyway, find it odd that there is talk of “a letter” when it seems there were in fact THREE letters ? Here as reported by the not Trump friendly Newsweek:

“Two other letters—one addressed to the state attorney general requesting the assignment of an independent prosecutor to review election proceedings and another addressed to the state inspector general asking for a full review of the Pennsylvania Department of State’s handling of the election—were also signed by dozens of state lawmakers.”

Otherwise... the PA legislature took an appropriate action, given the circumstances... which enables the best possible result in terms of what happens next. It does not obviate the potential that, given additional information, the PS legislature might act again... and make different choices ?
