Judge Emmet Sullivan still refusing to dismiss Michael Flynn case
More than a week after Flynn was pardoned by President Trump, Judge Sullivan still won't dismiss the case
n a Freedom of Information case related to former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, District Judge Reggie Walton said on Friday that Judge Emmet Sullivan doesn’t have a lot of options in dealing with the fact that President Trump granted Flynn a full pardon, “unless he takes the position that the wording of the pardon is too broad, in that it provides protections beyond the date of the pardon.”
“I don’t know what impact that would have, what decision he would make, if he makes that determination that the pardon of Mr. Flynn is for a period that the law does not permit,” said Walton, according to the National Law Journal. “I don’t know if that’s correct or not,” the judge continued. “Theoretically, the decision could be reached because the wording in the pardon seems to be very, very broad. It could be construed, I think, as extending protections against criminal prosecutions after the date the pardon was issued. I don’t know if Judge Sullivan will make that determination or not,” Walton added.

The legal process has dragged on through the appeals process, and finally President Trump issued a full pardon on November 25. On November 30, the DOJ notified Sullivan of the pardon, but he has still refused to drop the case.
Judge Walton appears to have hinted at what Sullivan is thinking as he refuses to dismiss the case.
Solomon Wisenberg, former deputy independent counsel, told Just the News that “It is disappointing but not surprising that Sullivan has yet to dismiss the case.”
In 2012 he was arrested for the violent assault and rape of an underage girl. He beat and raped her for several hours at his home, and when he was “finished” with her, he left her laying on the floor while he went and watched television.
Instead of calling 911 because of “recordings”, you instructed your son to call the local fire department directly. (Real shame they keep a recorded line as well Winking face) and once was dispatched to your sons address found the girl lying against the wall in the bedroom, still unresponsive. They got her to the hospital, saved her life, she was bleeding externally and internally, another hour and she would not have made it, saving daddy’s little namesake a murder charge.
But the ambulance company called the police and reported it, oh, your son was arrested. There was no way out the evidence was overwhelming so you and Cummings, and Rod took care of it. Lost in the system, no disposition. Still on the books but never made it to court.
Fast forward a few more years and the same son is picked up in a multi-state sting of online pedophiles. I’m sure all those pictures and videos he was trading, all those children oh, I’m sure they were asking for it too. Back to your friends, Cummings, Catherine Pugh, rod. Funny how are your friends are corrupt or convicted. With that previous charge still on the books you really had to call in some favors to make this go away. Close to 900 people picked up, you managed to make that case.
It took some SERIOUS digging to even find that Judge Emmit Sullivan had children. It came from an obituary when his father Emmet A Sullivan died in 2006 Survived by US District Judge Emmet G Sullivan & 2 grandkids:

Does it really matter if the snake refuses to dismiss the case? Trump has dismissed it. It is in the Constitution. Does the judge think he can override the Constitution?

OK, so Flynn has been pardoned. It’s a moot point. If the judge tries to hold a hearing or anything like that does Flynn or his representatives have to even bother showing up?
One final motion to recuse, denied, then get DC Circ Walker to issue Preemptory mandamus against Sullivan or Disqualification. Then Sullivan is removed from the bench in a quick Senate trial. Good luck getting your own pardon, Dimwit.

That’s the common wisdom well explained. But Dimwit is one of those ultra-k00ks who believes Trump is illegitimate, and is waiting (hopelessly) for such a ruling that the pardon is same. Dimwit also doesn’t want to be known as “The Judge Who Lost The Flynn Layup” and is baiting either Senate removal or DC Circuit mandamus/quietus so Dimwit can hit the talk circuit and say the case was taken out of his hands or he would have kept going.

Howard University Law School grad. That’s a bottom tier, historically black school. That’s also where the entire student body stood and cheered when OJ was acquitted. He wasn’t even smart enough to get himself affirmative-actioned into a decent school.
State district court judges are often elected. Federal district court judges are nominated by the president and confirmed by the senate. Sullivan was nominated by poppy Bush (spit!).
He obviously needs to be committed to Psychiatric treatment. The man has some serious mental issues.
