You believe that every one of those listed as covid deaths in fact died from sarscov2? Your buying what the socialist/globalist/media/democrat politicians are selling if you do.
No, I ignore politicians and media because they’re mostly liars and con artists. I’m going to the studies being done, the excess mortality stats compiled by hospitals and health departments, statements from doctors, etc.
And yes, the excess mortality information aligns with the death numbers reported out of hospitals and health departments. If you dig into the numbers, you find that what we have - while preliminary - is correct on that side. Deaths from other non-COVID causes are at normal levels or slightly above normal levels. There’s still a bunch of excess deaths happening. Doctors (including doctors well established on FR) are saying patients are dying because of COVID-19. The numbers they’re giving match up to the excess deaths.
You have to do some pretty crazy mental gymnastics to come up with explanations for why all those numbers line up, but are still all wrong. Most of the explanations I see are people just making stuff up. Like 300,000 people in the US just decided to jump out a window and nobody noticed, and doctors around the country all got together with the families of the victims and decided to commit fraud together with no upside (since doctors don’t get paid extra for COVID-19 patients, and hospitals are seeing ~2% of their revenue from COVID-19 government subsidies) and lots of downside (loss of medical license, no more career, prison time, etc.)
The numbers are what they are. The questions we should be asking are around WHY the numbers are so high. WHY did Governor Cuomo and others force nursing homes to accept known-infected patients? WHY did these governors do nothing to protect elderly care facilities from this virus? WHY were lockdowns/shutdowns put in place that drove panic-buying in places like Costco and Walmart where thousands of people were packed in together spreading the virus like wildfire? WHY has Governor Newsom in California spent $800 Million in taxpayer dollars to take homeless people living outside (which the CDC classifies as low risk for COVID-19) to put them up in hotels indoors (which CDC classifies as high risk for COVID-19)?
Those are the real questions that need answers. And the more we minimize the deaths and disease, the more we let people like Cuomo off the hook. After all, if it’s not a real disease or it’s not actually killing anyone or it’s long since over, then who care about Cuomo forcing nursing homes to accept known-infected patients? But if it’s a real disease that’s really killing people, then what Cuomo did should be indictable as tens of thousands of counts of negligent homicide.
I - for one - want to see him and Newsom and others like them behind bars for their reckless policies that caused the needless deaths of as many as 100,000 Americans.
