Here is a side effect of taking vitamin D supplements. My wife got covid and was bed ridden for 4 days, she does not like pills so normally does not join my daily dosage.

Her sense of taste and smell was screwed up for over a month.

On her 6th day I had a mild fever for two hours.

No further side effects.

5000 to 10000 units a day one week on one week off.

Have been just as mildly sick about 4 times in 25 years, Covid was just another cold to me.

Never take vaccines for anything because of a vaccine induced Flu like reaction. You ever read the insert to the vaccine provided by law in every box?

Thought not. Because it warns if you ever get that reaction that you should never take a vaccine again.

I read the insert. Stopped taking vaccines before it was hip and my health greatly improved.
