How spineless and traitorous are most of the GOP?
American Thinker ^ | Patricia McCarthy

Posted on 12/01/2020 3:50:46 AM PST by RoosterRedux

By now it is abundantly clear to any American paying attention that the Biden campaign/Democrat machine set out to guarantee that Donald Trump would not, could not, win the 2020 election. They cheated seven ways to Sunday! They committed epic fraud. Fake ballots, dead people voting – thousands of them, hundreds of thousands of absentee and mail-in ballots were counted in the names of people who did not request them or submit them.

Hundreds of thousands of magically appearing fake ballots were counted in PA, MI, and WI. Perhaps GA and NV as well. The truth has been revealed. Will it matter? Time will tell. I hope that the truth will out, despite the left’s operatives in Congress, the courts, the state legislatures, the FBI, CIA and DOJ and all those weak-kneed Republicans who are terrified to rock the establishment boat.

The attempts among members of Congress and of those agencies to cover up their monstrous scheme to steal the 2020 election are being revealed. Their efforts to cover up their treasonous attempt at a coup from the moment Trump won the 2016 election must be revealed.

What is so shockingly infuriating to the millions of people who voted for President Trump is the abject cowardice of most Republicans in Congress and in those state legislatures. It is as though they’ve been gelded.

We Trump supporters revere the Republicans who step up: Devin Nunes, Jim Jordan, Ron Johnson, Matt Gaetz, Ted Cruz, Tom Cotton, Marsha Blackburn, state senator Doug Mastriano of PA, amongst others. These are the good guys, the brave ones. Most of the rest of them are utter cowards, afraid to ruffle the feathers of their fellow swamp dwellers.

One has to wonder how many of the weak-kneed Republicans have been offered a deal they cannot refuse.

The choice of an adequate-sized carrot or a very cruel stick for themselves and their families.

It's going to come back on them one way or another. If Trump's victory is confirmed and our elections are cleaned up, we will vote them out (and some of them might be charged with crimes.)

If Biden's steal is confirmed, many of us will simply never vote again. What's the point if it's all a charade? And the GOP will shrivel up to nothing. Although some of these charlatans are such opportunists, they'll simply switch to Democrat and perhaps find someone to be to the Left of, but our entire country will sink into a manufactured Depression to the satisfaction of the rest of the world. Dark times ahead if this mockery of an election isn't made right.

Because of people like the traitors described in this article, the USA will be utterly destroyed from within, just like our forefathers predicted it would. And we have only ourselves to blame. Nothing short of dragging the weak kneed cowards out of the Washington DC will fix the problem.

To a much lesser degree, the GOPe stabbed Barry Goldwater in the back as well. The party elites, led by Rockefeller and George Romney, actively worked with the Jonson campaign to rig the election. The Saba tiger was immense and disgusting.

They tried to recruit the rest of the party to go along and many did. Two did not, however, and instead supported Goldwater. Bothe men, only one a true conservative, went on to win two terms in the White House, and by large margins.

Nixon and Reagan.

The Republican(s) who stand with Trump now will, I suspect, enjoy future success as they will have the support of the new and larger GOP party Trump has built.

Most republicans politicians and bureaucrats have shown that they don't want a reformer president like Donald Trump.

Over the last 4 years most of them have been either actively selling their own president out or cheering on their democrat friends who have been trying to destroy president Trump.

Most republicans will be happy to see Biden and the DEEP STATE prevail so they can get back to conducting SWAMP BUSINESS as usual.

If they did not want that they would be out on the streets supporting president Trump and his challenges to this stolen election.

I registered as unaffiliated in 1990. Not one penny or vote to the GOP ever again. Conservatives need a new party. May the GOP wither on the vine.

I agree that the Tytler Cycle is valid.

I do not agree where we are on that cycle.

We have not yet reached the full dependence stage—only about half of the population is there at this point.

If this fraudulent election stands it will be because of _complacency_ which is “normalcy bias” and the belief that the “rule of law” will get us through this.

The model suggests that if the rule of law fails, the next step is _not_ rebellion but rather apathy.

Full apathy would be when large segments of the productive population go “Atlas Shrugged” in disgust, which in my view is where we _could_ go next.

Don't be ridiculous.

They were pretty brave to agree to this conspiracy and run the risk that they would be exposed and eventually have to get real jobs.

You and many others continue to believe, against all evidence, that there are two teams here, GOP and "demonrats", one good, one bad, sure, maybe there are a few "RINOs" but they are a minority, now joined by "spineless traitors" but the paradigm is still sound, them and us, bad and good.

STOP IT.

They haven't been gelded and they're not spineless. The GOP is as opposed to American national interests as the Democrats are, what they want in the future is just as bad, if not worse, than what the Democrats want, and nothing can hasten the development of a nationalist, self-interested American politics faster than the destruction of the GOP.

>> Because of people like the traitors described in this article, the USA will be utterly destroyed from within, just like our forefathers predicted it would.

The Founding Fathers designed this nation to be a nation of people with European, Western, Protestant values with men voting and serving in office. If we had stuck with that, we would be fine right now.

I hear you. But, I think we’re pretty dependent now.

Try living without your Social Security number, health insurance, credit rating, car insurance, credit cards, pharmaceuticals, cell phone, electricity...basically 1900 style. Aren’t we greatly more dependent on infrastructure now vs. then?

Let’s just call it the way it is. Most Republicans are beholding to the K-street lobbyists who write the big checks that get them elected year in and year out.

They will never side with someone who is willing to clean-up the swamp for the betterment of the American people. It is nothing more than a shell game. Republicans, and to an extent Democrats, have sold their souls to the globalists like the Koch brothers, Soros, and major corporations who make sure they are taken care of before, during, and after public service.

Why upset the apple cart?

Trump, for all his faults, is/was a threat to their cushy lifestyle and had to be taken out. It’s amazing how little you hear from Senators like Graham and McConnell who thought they faced a real challenge, called on Trump to save their hides and now say he must go quietly into the night “for the good of the country.”

Trump is a lonely voice in the wilderness. The Supreme Court is not going to be the White Knight that saves him at the eleventh hour. They too are Washington insiders who will talk the talk but never walk the walk.

I’m afraid Deep State will prevail and we will look back at this election as the day the republic died.

Your statement is true but incomplete. You need to eliminate the muck, the food, the grows the weak kneed cowards. Otherwise they’ll be back in two generations. No tolerance, no mercy.
I never thought I’d be this hard over. But, by God, when you are dealing with cancer you need to cut it out completely.

Agree. Changes in the beginning of the 1900’s were very bad for America. 17A, 19A, the Fed and income tax in particular.
