I feel sorry for you and all the people I see working in businesses that require masks.

When I was in college, I worked as a nursing assistant in an isolation unit. I had to learn the "sterile field" and it was really important for us to mask up and gown up keeping that sterile field in mind at all times.

When all this lockdown/stay at home/masking began back in April, I went to the dermatologists office and the receptionist handed me a mask with her bare hands. My first reaction was, "Wait, I don't know where that came from and she is touching the inside of the mask!" As I resisted putting the mask on, within about 5 minutes I had 3 nurses screaming at me to put the mask on. I was the only patient in the waiting room of a multi-doctor practice at 1:30 PM. When I quickly decided I was leaving, I took the clipboard, the pen and the mask back to the receptionist's desk and the nurse that had screamed at me the loudest, screamed at the receptionist, "DO NOT TOUCH THAT STUFF!" As if I were a leper with the bubonic plague.

That episode pretty much cured me of wanting to put anything on my face.
