They have not called the Miller-Meeks — Hart race yet. As this headline, that you posted as if the winner has been declared notes, it is a six vote lead for Miller-Meeks. They have not settled counts in Scott County.
Miller-Meeks’ lead shrinks to six votes after Clinton County recount https://qctimes.com/live/live-updates-clinton-countys-recount-of-iowa-2nd-congressional-district-race/article_cf80d9c0-1e7b-54d1-bef4-eb0513c27dea.html
Please post the facts not you wishful thinking.
The 6 vote lead for MMM in IA-02 is WITH the shenanigans that the Democrats tried in Scott County.
(They recounted using an illegal method to try to steal the seat.)
If you throw out the Scott County recount, MMM is ahead by 27 votes.
So even with the attempted theft, the Democrat is still behind.
Iowa’s canvassing board, Supreme Court and Governor are all Republicans.
They gave it their best shot, but they didn’t steal hard enough. Close though.
From the article linked below:
“A state canvassing board is expected to meet Monday, the legal deadline, to certify the results of the race in which more than 394,400 votes were cast.”
The recount is apparently completed.
