Portman won’t be defeated. The seat is his for as long as he wants it.
I was just researching what it would take to get this PORS out of office, and what I saw blew my hair back:
2016 Senate election Portman: 3,118,567 Strickland: 1,996,908 2016 Presidential election Trump: 2,841,005 Clinton: 2,394,164 2020 Presidential election Trump: 3,153,336 Biden: 2,678,501 Republican increase for 2020: 312,331 Democrat increase for 2020: 284,337
I would say that Portman is in BIG trouble in 2022, and he doesn't even seem to know it.
All it would take is the Perot 15% sitting out the 2022 election - or better yet voting Democrat.
This turd would flush so fast it would make his well-coiffed head spin...
