And are the symptoms basically the same as the seasonal flu?

I’m only a few days into it. For my son - yes - very flu like.
For me - the shivers, eye pain & headache aren’t what I normally have with flu.
I think the worst thing is fear for my husband. He has asthma & im watching his O2 levels like a hawk.

If you look across Europe (using Italy, Sweden, Germany)...then those with ‘fragile’ health are the ones who chiefly spiral down and pass on. So you’d have the big category of folks who are over 70, or have COPD, or diabetes, or done recent cancer treatments.

Then I’d have a category for young people (20s, 30s, 40s) who have a very rough time (ending up at the hospital but not ventilated). These people have serious recovery stages and even at 2nd week exiting the hospital....they don’t have energy or stamina for at least a month or two.

Then I’d have the bulk category...folks who have a pretty serious flu-like situation, no energy, and recovery starting by the 10th day.

Last category is the minor symptom folks...just a temperature, low energy, and in recovery by the 7th day.

So far, no one predict how each person will react, and I suspect once the vaccine really starts to be given....we find that certain people really react badly to it, and the majority just have a minor reaction.
