I caught that too. In Georgia the machine prints a ballot. It contains text showing how you voted and a bar code that holds the votes. The bar code is what the tabulators actually read. There is no way for a voter to verify the accuracy of the bar code.
I early voted at the Lynwood Park location mentioned on page 35 of the complaint. When I voted and approached the tabulators they asked me to read the first letter printed below the bar code, then directed me to the tabulator on the left. Someone here said that was probably to reflect the right precinct, that the tabulators could be programmed differently. Maybe so, but what if they were programmed differently according to how you voted?
Beach333, the auditors counted the ballots with the same visual information that you used to verify the accuracy of the ballot, i.e. separate from the bar code.
Beach, there were no auditors. And GOP observers had no way of viewing the recount because of the table to monitor ratio. They were not allowed to clearly observe the signature matching the first count, nor the next two counts. This has been in multiple lawsuits and there is sworn testimony of observers.
