This sounds weird, but I don't know that there is any ability or method to accept or not accept a pardon. It is the executive setting aside judicial findings. Full stop.
Now, from an optics point of view Flynn will never get the exoneration from the legal system that he wanted. But at this point, maybe he doesn't want it anymore. He has shown that the Judge is a completely partisan jerk.
It makes me sick to see how the MSM will twist this, every story will begin with "General Flynn, who pled guilty to lying to the FBI …"
It was a game of chicken between Flynn and Sidney on the one side and Sullivan on the other, to see who would blink first.
Sadly, Flynn/Sidney blinked first.
Sullivan will walk away saying "I was never proved wrong in anything. Trump pardoned Flynn, Flynn pled guilty".
My only hope is that if the GOP regains the House that the first order of business -- literally the very first order of business -- would be impeaching him.
Who cares that the corrupt Dems in the Senate won't uphold and convict. Sullivan played for a completely illegitimate and unethical symbolic victory -- lets see how he likes being subjected to symbolic punishment. The scarlet *I* imposed on his judicial record.
I'm not sure "why now"? This seems like the last pardon that Trump should give: meaning keep the pressure on Sullivan until the bitter end. But Dems are shameless.
Sullivan probably would have held out until Jan 20 even though the appeals court told him to finish the case with "appropriate dispatch" back on Aug 30. In three months he hasn't done what he was told, would another two months force him to act? Probably not.
There was a U.S. Air Force flight GTMO845 to GITMO this afternoon. I watched it on flightradar24.com. Their was no tail number associated with the plane, but there was a number “163845”.

Here is a prefect example of one where our government is so screwed up.
Lady Justice if she were truly blind then that hack Judge should have been removed and impeached, but congress is too corrupt to act.

No, this is Trump signalling that he wants Flynn to go home and enjoy roasted Turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes with his family on Thanksgiving. No need to read anything more into this pardon.
