I could be wrong and hope I am wrong. I would be ecstatic to be wrong. And I have never in my life had a problem admitting I was wrong; whether that is a blessing or a strength, I do not know.
Name calling is the first and sole argument for many, and usually those are the ones who can never admit being wrong.
I realize Powell is worshipped here and elsewhere. To me, the adoration is unwarranted, but is based on totally understandable feelings. I am sympathetic to those feelings, which is why I warn against her, Powell the person and Powell the lawyer.
So I’ll ask you again, succinctly.
Since you don’t trust Powell, what other option are you presenting?
Or is your proposal that we simply agree with your personal attacks against her, and assume she can’t be trusted, hence any real hope is lost, whether it is weakly feigned or not.
