Progressives all across America have declared war on Asians, meritocracy, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). Recently, the San Francisco Unified School District voted to replace their merit admissions process at Lowell High School, one of the best high schools in America and also happens to be 61% Asian, with a lottery-based system.
When Asian-American parents opposed the school district’s plans to enact its new “lottery” system in late October, the school district blasted the parents by stating they were “racist” and responsible for the “toxic culture” at the school. Parents were accused of furthering the “Asian supremacy” agenda by making their children work so hard; their children’s achievements were demoralizing African-American and Latino students.
One African-American parent stated it’s because of Asians hogging up all the spaces “Black people can’t catch up technologically because the ‘stupid Asians’ are keeping black people down out of fear they’d be overtaken.”
When one angry Asian-American parent responded “Trust me, you’ll never catch up. If you need to lower-standards to get in, you’ll never beat us,” a near physical fight broke loose.
Another Asian parent screamed, “First you blame white people, now you blame us!? Grow up! Study harder or go home!”

Lowell High School used to be one of the finest.
No one has kept blacks down more than the blacks themselves.
Their most often hyped role models are idiots and/or thugs.
Their racist ridicule of their own people who study hard by saying good grades and studying hard is called acting white.
They hate any blacks who make their lives better and leave urban hellholes and areas where blacks take zero pride and ability to upkeep their properties.

LOL, the things you can just come out and say when you're not burdened by white guilt.
Perhaps a change in curriculum will improve African-American grades. Such as "Demolition Tactics", "Physics of Evading Arrest", "Debating for Lenient Imprisonment", etc.
Until then, they won't catch up to Asians by attempting admission to the school. It isn't the schooling, it's the culture.

Precisely - but Apple and Intel will finish moving all of their operations to Asia long before that becomes a problem for them.
I know people who went there, you have to work hard. When I was a teen, a friend of mine got into Lowell. His parents were poor Mexicans, his father was a janitor and his mom was a waitress, neither spoke English. My friend worked hard, graduated, got into law school and became a successful lawyer. We've got immigrants coming in who succeed within a couple generations; but also have malcontents who have been here for many generations that have a give-me-that attitude who won't work to succeed.
Progressives are at war with everyone.
Indians and Communist Chinese whining... again. They need to GTFO.
They cheated their way here. Parents, no doubt are H1B scumbags (they are usually the most vocal). San Francisco/ the Bay Area/ Silicon Valley is full of them.
I only care about long-term Asians that pledged their loyalty to the US instead of continuing to pledge allegiance to New Delhi and Beijing. The rest, go home.

A woman I dated years ago was a Radcliffe grad,which is now part of Harvard.A classmate of hers was the Assistant Dean of Admissions at Harvard and she told my girlfriend that were it not for the school’s affirmative action admissions policy the entire Freshman class...every year...would be made up of Asians and Jews.
Asians have a tendency to vote Democrat.....

Do what we did. Leave public school. Home or private school.

Exactly. So why are so many here crying for these kids? Them and their parents need to GTFO.
1st generation Asian-American parents usually mean Indians and Communist Chinese for the most part, parents arriving on H1Bs. Won’t be Vietnamese, Filipino, Taiwanese, South Korean for sure. Especially in that part of the USA.
