“FORCED” in the sense that it’s nearly impossible to get carry permits in Calif... it’s totally ridiculous
Not impossible in California. It's a matter of the local jurisdiction's discretion. California is a "may issue" state. Many California cities and counties treat that as "shall issue" and permits are easy to get. Some, pretty much in the big cities, won't give any out.
