I was replying to the poster who said that Sidney has never been a member of the team. Trump tweeted on the 14th that she was.
They are clearly separating themselves from Sidney at this point because her unsubstantiated speculation and outraged accusations were hurting their legitimate efforts to prove fraud and/or violation of the equal protection clause.
Art of War misdirection, perhaps?

They are distancing from President Trump’s Nov 14 tweet that she was a member of the legal team, because she has harmed their case.

I think more likely it is because Trump was persuaded not to go up against the CIA.
Are you guessing at why the statement was made? Or do you know something on the inside? Powell has more than once said she is not part of the “Trump Legal Team.” She is part of the broader T-Team.

Trump is not throwing Powell under the bus. He just tweeted that she's still part of his team.

No he did not. That tweet was from Nov 14. Today she is out.

My guess is the President has retained her services for several million dollars...Trump is serious about exposing this caper and is very willing to pay Sidney’s legal fees to have this election shoved up biden’s wrinkled ass...one ballot at a time.
Trump is no dummy...he is not about to let this go. This has turned into a blood sport....bidens.
I bet that this statement has more to do with the funding than anything.

My first thought was that some of her statements on how extensive the fraud is, who was involved and so forth require such amazing proof to support them that Rudy and Jenna don't think she can meet that burden of proof.
I think Rudy and Jenna believe she has gone too far in her claims, and they don't want to be dragged down with her if she can't support her claims in court.
I hope that isn't it, but that was my first thought.
I believe she works for the campaign. Whoever wrote that press release should be fired...

There is one thing certain. Life is never dull on FreeRepublic. It is quite illuminating to see all the different opinions and torching going on this thread. I think I even saw one post denigrating President Trump.
Stars rise and fall here quite rapidly and often.
