The Trump campaign’s statement appears to say that she is not in fact working with them. There’s always a % of grifters who latch onto the cause du jour. Powell has publicly asked Trump not to pardon Flynn. My guess is - whatever happens to Flynn - if Trump pardons the guy, the donations will stop coming in, and she’ll stop being able to dip into that pot of money. With the Trump campaign challenges, she’s got an entirely new pot of money at her disposal to do with as she pleases. While it’s very enterprising of her, it would be better for Trump supporters to simply donate to the Trump campaign
