Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis have released the following statement, "Sidney Powell is practicing law on her own. She is not a member of the Trump Legal Team. She is also not a lawyer for the President in his personal capacity."

Sidney Powell was the one who was hammering on the electronic voting systems. Giuliani has only ever been focusing on mail-in ballot fraud. If Powell is being cut loose than that implies that her case is not going forward.

The statement didn’t say Powell had left the team. Maybe she was never technically on the team. She said she wasn’t being paid. This may just be a clarification of an already existing status.
Lin Wood isn’t on the team either, thank goodness. He is a publicity hound first and last is my impression.

That’s what I’m afraid of.
If you’re hoping on Bill Barr to save us, then I think you need to prepare to be disappointed.
Perhaps they’re just clarifying her independence, given her appearance at the press conference probably gave a lot of people the idea she was working for the Trump campaign directly.
Maybe Trump is thinking of appointing her as a special prosecutor to take a deeper dive into Dominion? It sounds like a case that will take a lot longer to build than what Rudy and Ellis are pursuing.
FWIW, I wonder if the clarification has to do with FEC regs...
Reading the comments here, I come to the conclusion that most of Free Republic is just a hysterical sewing circle.
We won’t know anything until we hear from Powell.

why buy into this? Powell always had her own thing:

same goes for Joe DiGenova and Victoria Toensing, who were also at the Press Conference. They are not part of the Trump legal team either.
