Wood has never been on the a Trump legal team. He has always been working in his own capacity, but he does coordinate with them.

Now I’m confused. I thought they nailed the traitors with the crooked Dominion voting machines.

Perhaps her forthcoming lawsuits will implicate some republicans and Trump wants to minimize the political blowback from republicans. Sydney has been very clear that the illegal acts have been perpetrated by both democrats and republicans. Therefore, they are merely clarifying that her suits are being brought forth by her and not Trump. Maybe wishful thinking on my part.

Reading the comments here, I come to the conclusion that most of Free Republic is just a hysterical sewing circle.

Amen.

as far as I am aware Trump real team has never argued once in court about dominion. I have been trying to point this out for awhile.

We keep hearing over and over about dominion, but Trumps team never brings it up in court.

Unless there’s another related statement that I have yet to see, Trump simply stated that Powell is not on his personal legal team. Given Powell’s bold statements regarding Kemp, this makes sense to me.

Nothing about this gives me pause concerning the veracity of Powell’s overtures — I have no more nor less belief in remarks up to this point. FWIW, I have no opinion — I don’t know what to make of her assertions, but I know enough about data, stats, and the related technologies to give her the benefit of doubt.

[Get REAL....she knows more than all of them combined.]

Sidney Powell got her client’s ass in a sling, because she convinced him to back out from a guilty plea agreement that involved no prison time. If he had simply adhered to it, he would not be fighting a battle for his freedom that appears to have no end. I’m a cynic. My suspicion is that she saw the donor flows into Flynn’s defense fund and got dollar signs in her eyes. Which is how her abortive strategy came about. She may not care whether Flynn is ultimately acquitted, as long as donor money continues to come in.

Whether her serial defeats are deliberate (out of mercenary motives) or due to incompetence, Trump can do better, legal representation-wise. He has the cream of Republican legal representation at his beck and call. Giuliani was an Associate AG who made major dents in organized crime. He has substantial accomplishments under his belt. Whereas Powell is more of a hanger-on.

Too much at the presser about how the CIA is doing this and that. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are, but it’s a distraction at this point to say so in the name of POTUSDJT, who is the nominal CIC of the CIA, even though they went rogue in 2016 and probably before. She’s a formidable advocate, but there she made a huge error.

“Along with outrageous, hyperbolic statements.”

In that interview with Carr (on the radio), I just got the sense that she didn’t really have a plan.

For example: She said she was going to file “later next week”, and Howie had to jump in and remind her Thursday was Thanksgiving...she didn’t have a clear response.

It was cringe-worthy. And like many, I thought she was part of the team with Rudy.

This is sickening. The ONE realistic chance we have to actually impact things was IF Dominion software indeed flipped votes or dropped Trump votes.

I’ve seen enough compelling data (albeit, in GP and similar articles) to convince me that it did. There’s no way, for instance, that **53** separate batches of votes could break precisely the same percentages for Biden and Trump down to the third decimal point. TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE. So, assuming that data is real, it does look that Dominion indeed did execute an algorithm to change vote counts.

So, the $64M question becomes..why hasn’t THAT data been presented in court? I get that it takes time to prepare to present. But Sydney could have spent less time doing media interviews and more preparing court filings.

The fact that Rudy (who albeit, once great has his own issues) and Jenna (great, but very young) are distancing themselves from Sydney NOW, after they appeared together the other day as the “elite strike force legal team” is very, very disconcerting.

Unless something major changes, Trump, Rudy and Jenna distancing themselves from Sydney says they don’t expect she has the goods. If that’s true, that leaves us with “but, the mean D person at the polls wouldn’t let our observers see the ballots”, or the lack of equal protection (D poll workers cured ballots where R poll workers couldn’t).

Realistically, NONE of those complaints is remotely likely to flip a single state, let alone 4.

The ONLY play to flip 4 states is Dominion. Without PROOF of flipped votes via Dominion, this game is OVER. And no, that’s not anything other than just accepting reality.

“Agreed. Terribly worded statement. Too short and abrupt. The word “clarification” should have been included somewhere in the text.”

It’s the way lawyers write when they are extremely pissed off. Something happened.

Been saying this for a week...and getting yelled at for it. Powell is a crackpot. Rudy is a clown. Ellis is a lightweight. And now the “team” is falling apart. Predictable.

The material that Powell has been talking about is going beyond the election recounts but into severe criminal behavior.

Exactly right. Which is why it is important for the President to put out that kind of clarifying statement. Otherwise it would create the appearance that the President is using his personal attorneys to criminally prosecute his political enemies.

Axios is Comcast — Comcast despises Trump.

Sorry, but I don’t GAS what the media has to say. At this point, it’s about the tangible, legal outcomes, and the direct statements made by the WH.

But I appreciate you providing the references. I mean that.
