I was only 19 at the time, on my 1st visit to Nantucket that summer. It was the buzz on the island, but after I returned home, I don’t recall hearing any more of it. The press has been memory-holing Kennedy dirt for most of my lifetime.
I still am dumbfounded when thinking back at all the crap the Kennedys got away with.
