Signing your name on the outside of the ballot just tells them which ballots to shred based on their list of your PRIOR VOTING HISTORY.

True. At this point, it looks like there will never again be an accurate and fair election until the individual voter can check AFTER the election to confirm that his/her vote was actually given to the correct candidate. The voter has to be able to get 100% verification on this.
