Three family members died of covid in the spring...two nieces, ages 75 and 61, and my 83 year old sister-in-law. All in upstate NY.
A nephew in connecticut was hospitalized, but he pulled thru. However, he had to go to a rehab facility to be able to walk again. 67. Was in good shape...outdoorsman, fisherman, hiker.
It seems to be much more virulent in the Northeast.
I have two other elderly.....91 and 89 distant relatives ...both with serious underlining health issues and in homes for the elderly. Both got covid but died from kidney failure and heart disease however listed as covid deaths.
Yes covid has been ‘thicker’ in the NorthEast and east coast n thanks to Cuomo......I tracked the spread when it hit N.Y.City and saw it creep over the borders int Eastern Pa. and Nrth into New England. Cuomo wouldn’t lift a finger to stop his own citizens from traveling when it was so obvious he could have shut them down early on and refused to.....
I was so livid as I watched this early spread.
