Why the NYT is totally lacking in critical thinking skills:
How is it that votes are counted at an average of 1000 votes per minute for several hours, then suddenly counted at an average of 9000 votes per minute for a few minutes, then back to 1000 votes per minute for several more hours?
How is that even physically possible?
Were there extra machines available?
If there were extra machines available, then why were they only counting at a rate of 1000 votes per minute before and after the spike?
