"She knows but she ain’t telling."

Certainly a possibility.

However, if the good guys have it...I think she would say so. Why? Public opinion.

As much as we need/want the facts...we ALSO need public opinion on our side which includes that of "independents" and the ever shrinking number of "reasonable" (D)'s still out there.

They held a presser today for that very reason.

Public opinion may not sound like it matters at this point, but it very much does and here's why:

1.The courts, including the SCOTUS, are not going to order the various states to throw out ballots/votes or to not certify their states election results. They may order them to follow their respective related state election laws...but we've already seen how those states executive branches handle that.
a)Trumps team knows this, but has to go through this initial process.

2. The affected states will have to resolve this themselves...by way of their state legislatures determining auditing and whether or not ballots/votes get tossed and the number that gets certified.
a)Trumps team knows this as well, and has talked about this Constitutional process.

The state legislatures in question, are largely (or completely in some cases) "controlled" by the (R)'s.

This is where public opinion/knowledge comes into play.

The state politicians are just that...politicians, that are generally more closely associated with their constituents than their federal office holder counterparts.

The people in these states in question...MUST...put maximum pressure on their state elected reps to audit/toss invalid ballots & votes and to certify Trump as lawful winner of the election in their state.

The people MUST remind their elected reps that they are up to re-election in no time and will hold them responsible for certifying fraudulent results.

The people, therefore, must be given all possible information in order to put that pressure on their reps.

If there appears to be nothing there, the majority of people will simply go back to their "daily lives."

If Powell knows the good guys have it...she would have said so. She seems like a no non-sense, no B.S. kind of person. There doesn't seem to be a good reason to withhold that information when your trying to build up public opinion knowing this will be a state by state internal political battle.

It is going to take lots of time to do all that you suggest.

Is there any way to change the certification deadline for the various states that have a problem?

To postpone or delay certification, transition, inauguration?

I’m getting a headache thinking about it.

What are the precedents, if any?
