I prefer MeWe. More Facebook like. With Parler I see mostly to big names posting and not much from friends.
I don’t like Paler I deleted my account. It’s not user friendly. I use Facebook it’s fun when family and friends are communicating.
I need such a system, not. I email and text those I need to keep in touch with.
I tried Parler twice. It’s very complicated and, as you said, ordinary folks can’t break through the celebrity gate.
I signed up on MeWe. A HUGE improvement! There are sections and topics for most everyone, and it’s as easy to post there as it is on Free Republic. Photos can be uploaded in a snap and, so far, everyone I’ve encountered is very friendly and helpful.
