I didn’t have it.

I actually just got a COVID test Tues and it came back negative, which I expected.

I didn’t think I had it either cause the symptoms were not right at all for it, and mr. mm had it the week before and he needed to get tested the following week, the week I came down with it, and his test was negative also.

However, when I read the booklet they gave me and I realized that you would be essentially penalized for getting a test and testing positive, even considering it very well could be a false positive, there’s no way I’m getting that test again unless I am hospitalized for something and have to have it then.

Discard your mask...you will collect less pneumonia causing bacteria and will have less lung problems which may cause you to fall off a ladder and cause another Covid death.

I got sick Sunday, eyes running, sneezing, achy legs and tiredness. I woke up this morning feeling 100% Just a few hours ago I actually cooled off from being too hot. I had been cold and hot and cold and hot. Now my normal feel of room temp is back. Who knows? I WOULD NEVER present myself at a hospital or testing site unless I was feeling like I had a bad flu. I remember what that was like from last time I had it in 1993. I got Pneumonia then and was down for 2 weeks. I have been using Quercitin, zinc, D3, C and B vitamins for months.

Last week on the 9th, I started with a mild bug of some kind. I had aches, low grade, intermittent sinus headaches, fatigue, and my appetite was off. I had NO classic COVID symptoms.

Here is the problem with that statement. You did indeed have the classic COVID symptoms because if you stated to any health care "professional" they would have agreed that it sounds like "COVID" and told you to get a test. I am convinced if you said you had the symptoms of gout you would have been told "Sounds like COVID" because there is a huge load of BS that is being shoveled that all of these "hero" health care "professionals" know everything and have it all figured out and if you aren't a doctor you are stupid and don't know anything.

IS this possible? I just talked to my BIL. He was talking to his pharmacist today who told him that people are getting cold symptoms they are going in for COVID testing. Because colds are a coronavirus the tests come back positive for COVID when in fact it is just a cold.

It depends on the test, and what exactly they test for. PCR tests are basicly just DNA replications to increase whatever DNA fragments are present, until something can easily be detected. Coronaviri share a good bunch of their DNA, so IF the very specific fragments that are different are what are present and tested for, then yes, the test will differentiate. But most PCRs don't do that - they're generally used as a cause finder, not an infection confirmation. What I mean is that a PCR is something you do when you have symptoms, and the doc needs to find out what you have to know how to treat it. Repeated multiplication of the tiniest fragments will eventually test positive for something. This is how the doc can figure out if your sniffles are from a Rhinovirus, Coronavirus, RSV, bacterial infection, or so on. What a PCR does NOT do is tell you if there's an active infection - what DNA is present can be leftover from weeks or months prior, and, like your BIL said, if the fragments are part of the same DNA that all coronaviri share, then any common cold strain will pop positive, as well as ChinaVirus or SARS-1 or MERS.

Exactly what I have been saying from the beginning. Full information about exactly which comorbidities or obesity are involved and how many of the nursing home patients who died were already frail and bedridden would help people make Informed decisions. We have still not been given this information. I wonder if this data is even being compiled.
