Don’t be silly. The real question is what event lead to the sudden change. In theory it could be explained by results arriving all at once from a jurisdiction, but why would that happen in several states at similar times? And if that pattern resulted from urban areas reporting late why didn’t it happen in every other state?

You know, we used to have laws that we followed in this country. Elections had a start and end time (a time after which no more ballots can come in, if you didn't know). You know why that was? To prevent vote fraud like, say, someone trucking in thousands of votes at 3am to change the outcome. That might give you a clue why Trump emphasized "after".
