My grandmother lived in Bend back in the 80s and early 90s. It was staring to go hippie-dippy then. Guess it got worse.
I worked for the Forest Service in Bend and other places in central Oregon in the late 70s and early 80s. Bend got a LOT worse since then. Bend is just a little slice of California now, and not the good parts of California, either.
