The NYC restaurant business is in the crapper. Many legal/illegal immigrants worked in the restaurants. Hispanic, Mexican, Chinese and so on.
My guess is Chinatown is now a ghost town. NYC is a very Chinese city these days. Queens’ was their promised land with malls that were mobbed with Chinese. All before the Chinese Wu Flu hit.

I could go as I am and tell them I am from America circa 1950, that should qualify as a foreign country.
On the average, social security pensioners live on $250/wk. If the illegal pop in NYC can’t provide for themselves, they need to go home where living is cheaper instead of demanding 3x the amount pensioners live on.
Every increase in minimum wage, every inflated handout, harms SS recipients by making food and housing more expensive as retailers and landlords capitalize on increased income levels.
