When someone is saying something profound to me, or speaking to me from a position of grief or anguish or plain common sense why would I (even if I were a reporter) take note of his physical appearance unless it bolstered his comments...or if a friend, his comfort?
It only matters to them, not us. They can’t handle the truth, so it’ll be all about the hair dye.
