Why do we have to have *any* machines counting the votes??
We are talking about counting. Adding up the votes for a few candidates from individual precincts, typically less than 500 votes per precinct. And then adding them together. This is not hard. OK, maybe give the county clerks a calculator. If we cannot do even that without computer software, we’re lost.
I’m not against putting the final results in a spreadsheet and then on the internet, but this should be done only to verify the hand counts, and of course to make the information public.

Do you remember the Democrats' Iowa app that couldn't count votes?
Bypassing election systems software means whoever has access can potentially manipulate the vote without risks of detection.
BTW, who has access? Dominion's Dr. Coomer replied, ‘Vendors, election officials.... and others who are granted access.
Only vendors, election officials, and others who are granted access? All innocent and just a coincidence, of course.....cackle.
