Lawyers are one of the least "regulated" professional entities we have in this country. Who is to know if they charge their client for 2 hours of work that was actually spent back-slapping the opposing counsel at the country club, yacht club, etc? Who can prove the billable hours fraudulent without spending even MORE MONEY?
