Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer said Thursday that "quick action" may be needed amid a surge in coronavirus cases and hospitalizations in the state, according to reports.
“We are facing incredibly dire circumstances. It may be necessary for us to take some quick action here,” Whitmer said during a news conference.

My guess is what’s going on with these new edicts that sound exactly like the old edicts in March is the Democrats heard all that cynical talk along the lines of, “Oh, sure. You watch. After the election, all this crap will stop,” and they feel like they have to keep the FEAR going awhile longer as a result to make things look on the up-and-up.
My RepubliRAT governor really wants to do a lockdown. Several County Executives are really limiting stuff.

This is an attempt by her to prevent any recounts/audits. She’s going to use Covid-19 as an excuse to prevent gatherings where the recounts will take place.

This has been asked but nobody seems to be answering it, but didn’t the MI Supreme Court already end her orders as requiring the State Legislature to approve?
MI Supreme Court with what army? How are they going to enforce their ruling?
