Whitehouse coronavirus advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci thinks that Americans have an independent spirit, but that there are times when it’s in our best interest to follow the rules.
Fauci, speaking on Thursday at Washington National Cathedral with other top health experts on the pandemic, noted that it is a bit unfair to compare the United States’ coronavirus response with other countries. The United States isn’t an island with five million people that can easily be shut down, he notes. So suppressing and controlling the virus is a lot more of a challenge.
“I was talking with my U.K. colleagues who are saying the U.K. is similar to where we are now, because each of our countries have that independent spirit,” he said on stage. “I can understand that, but now is the time to do what you’re told.”

Heh. He speaks to what I’ve been saying for months. We’re not Europe. We know better than to “trust authority”.
And the mantra for us old hippies is “Question authority”. Frankly, with every passing decade it is more and more obvious they can not be trusted.
He needs to do what he is told.

Race agitator Gayle King on CBS This morning interviewed Fauci and asked at the end, how are you doing? Especially with what has come out of the WH?
We can’t get an new honest media option soon enough.
Do what you’re told huh. Let’s see in Jan we were told by Fauci not to worry. Later told masks don’t help,actually are harmful to wear. Then to change the curve for two weeks. Later we have to wear masks even outside, but if you want to hook up, well that’s okay.
Can we have just one day without a decree/pronouncement from Fauci? He is irritating beyond belief.

Okay, Dr. Fauci, convince us. Americans will generally do what they are told if they are convinced that it is the right and necessary action. Hysterical fear-mongering isn’t going to cut it.
They have been lying about this virus from the very beginning. Almost all of it has been a lie. Beyond “the virus exists” there’s not a lot more that we can believe them on. We are even kind of taking their word for it on that much.
