“What are the pros & cons of OANN vs NewsMax?”

We like Newsmax during the day better than OAN generally. (OAN seems to show a lot of global news clips during the day that we don’t find relevant to what we’re interested in. Although sometimes OAN will play investigative report, which are very good.)

We like OANN in the evenings. Their lineup is pretty good starting about 6:00. Chanel Rion is excellent reporting from the White House. (The MSM really hate her! LOL.) Their investigative people deep dive into relevant subjects, and are excellent. Those reports are shown shown throughout the day.

My two cents.

Newsmax daytime is pretty good....their guest line up is now mirroring what Fox guests used to be.

Their nighttime line up is great. We like Greg Kelly’s show and the show that follows.....Stitchfield. They have excellent coverage, and guests.

OAN is okay....mostly prefer them during the day to get more of a ‘headline news’ report....over a host’s show.

Their nighttime line up used to be great, before the axed Liz Wheeler and Graham Ledger. The replacements, for these shows are pretty much meh. Which doesn’t really matter, to us, as we prefer Newsmax, at night.

OANN covers the news in about one hour. During that hour, you’ll have no urge to throw something at the screen.

OANN is supposed to be free for the remainder of the year. If you have an Apple TV, you can get OANN for about $5 per month.

I have to say of both they are of Conservative bent. OANN can be annoying with their repetitive news programming, and send us off to Newsmax, which has more in depth interviews. OANN is constantly evolving, therefore we see their growth, and appreciate them all.
