The same people who named various species of bird the blue tit, coal tit, marsh tit, willow tit, long-tailed tit, etc. etc. Never mind the blue-footed booby.
We got a calendar from the local zoo. I exclaimed to my wife how they were sending out one more akin to the mechanics tool calendars.
“So on this page is a photo of a Greater Tit. On this page there is a Booby. And on this page!....” I turned it over and it was a picture of a tiger.
She just gave me that look...
