Democratic Senator Joe Manchin drew the ire of progressives on Monday night after he pledged not to vote against his own party on Supreme Court packing or ending the filibuster, even if the Senate were to be split 50-50 in the wake of Georgia's runoff races.
Appearing on Fox News, the U.S. senator from West Virginia said he would "not vote" with Democrats on those key issues if the Senate were split down the middleeffectively offsetting Kamala Harris' deciding vote as vice president.

Actually, he sometimes does. The most notable was in 2015 when he gave John Kasich an interview of about 12 minutes and just allowed Kasich to talk on and on. By the end Kasich had revealed himself to be a hopeless squish far more effectively than if Baer had really attempted to go after him. It’s a very gentle interviewing style that sometimes gets the interviewees to say far more than expected.
Then someone needs to take every illegal EO to Supreme Court. The public perception of several defeats at SCOTUS will propel the transition in 2022 to GOP House.
If Manchen cant stomach being a Republican let him become independent and caucus with GOP.
