Why not? 93% of Republicans supported Trump, which seems to indicate a very successful realignment of the party. Seems kind of counterproductive to abandon the party when it is as unified as its ever been.

Good point. The Republican voter base is solid. The problem is with many of the "leading" Republican spineless politicians. We can definitely forget all of the RINOs who are now kissing up to whom they claim is "President-Elect Biden." It seems all of the RINOs (George W. Bush, Susan Collins, Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, Lisa Murkowski, John Kasich, Ben Sasse, etc.) are now taking their marching orders from the new emerging RINO Superstar Cindy McCain.
