The challenge to the 2020 presidential election is based not on unlawful voting, but on ineligible ballots. There is a narrative put out by the Democratic party and their media allies that to contest the election, the Trump campaign must produce enough evidence of fraudulent voters to make up the difference in the vote count. That has very little to do with the bulk of the challenges.

States have a variety of laws to deal with absentee ballots that are put in place to ensure the integrity of the process. These laws are there because it is a lot easier to cheat with mail-in voting. Everyone knows this, though for the last six months, there has been a serious effort to deny it.

As a point of comparison, consider how teachers prevent cheating on exams. They sit in front of the room as students take their exam. They watch them to make sure the students are looking at their own papers. This is enough to prevent most cheating.

Now, imagine a teacher, after several years without incident, deciding that since she has seen no cheating, there is no real reason to watch the students. Instead, after handing out the exams, she leaves the room, returns to her office, and returns an hour later to collect the exams. (If you needed to give an exam without a proctor, you would have to go to great length, such as producing completely different exams for each student, to ensure the integrity of the exams.)

The Democrat party has long promoted mail-in voting, as Democrats believe that their supporters are less likely to vote in person than their opponents' voters. The pandemic presented a unique opportunity to massively increase the number of mail-in ballots and urge their followers to vote by mail.

You are very wrong. SCOTUS and/or the Republican legistlature will not act unless the fraudsters were caught red-handed trucking in 450,000 ballots marked for Biden. Trump knew this was going to happen. He had over 6 months to work out a sting operation with Barr to catch the bastards. You don't come up with 450,000 illegal ballots overnight in someone's basement. This was a wide-range conspiracy that a sophisticated surveillance sting could have caught. Nothing less than catching them in the act with a sting operation will be accepted.

To truly verify each vote -- and even this wouldn't be enough to detect vote-buying, for example -- you would need to contact each mail-in voter personally, and ask if they completed and sent in their ballot themselves.

As a practical matter, that's impossible to do for every mail-in vote.

There's no practical way to get that surveillance, though. You'd have to get secret court orders to set up hidden cameras in all the thousands of gyms, libraries, schools, etc., where people vote, in all the rooms where they meet, and do it in a way that poll workers would be unaware of it. That can't, and didn't, happen.

Voting needs to be limited to the maximum extent possible to in-person voting on election day where it is feasible to have enough in-person monitors to actually watch what happens.

When overwhelming evidence was found that a conspiracy killed JFK, the powers to be were faced with the same question, dirty up the evidence OR tell the truth?

There are lots of other examples to pick from. MANY Americans will believe whatever they are told no matter how ridiculous the DEEP STATE assertions are.
