Umm, nope. True, the swing in the one county was 6,000, but that was accomplished by changing 3,000 votes, as stated in the article. Not 6,000.
Here’s what the idiot wrote: “...282,000 votes would have to be subtracted from Joe Biden’s totals and added to Donald Trump’s...” That would result in a swing of 564,000.
“Umm, nope. True, the swing in the one county was 6,000, but that was accomplished by changing 3,000 votes, as stated in the article. Not 6,000.”

If 100,000 people voted in total in the county referenced, and the votes were recorded as Biden 50,000, and Trump 50,000, that would total 100,000.
However, rather than 50,000, instead if Biden’s number was reduced by 3,000, then Biden ended up with 47,000.
Then, if those 3,000 were added correctly to Trump, then rather than 50,000, Trump would end up with 53,000.
This would cause a shift in the difference of 6,000:
Initially 50,000 - 50,000 = 0 difference
then 53,000 (Trump) - 47,000 (Biden) = 6,000 difference
So, a shift in 3,000 caused a difference of 6,000.
You do not have to change anything by 6,000 to end up with a 6,000 vote shift. You only have to reduce one candidate by 3,000 in orde3r to cause a shift of 6,000 between the 2 candidates.
