I saw, on the precinct map, that the precincts that shut down were clustered in two locations. One cluster was miles from the other, and the precincts that were clustered were often skipping over other precincts. Heck of a water main break, that skips precincts and manages to re-emerge miles away.

How hard would it have been to get a union pipefitter to arrange that?

It's acceptable for Michigan and Pennsylvania to count forever, when neighbor states like Indiana and Kentucky, which are clones of topography (rural) and population, adhere to the Gold Standard of voting and vote counting. Kentucky reported 1 hour after close, Indiana reported 2 hours after close.
