But that doesn’t address my point: Did Trump really help himself by bragging about letting felons out early? Or did that dampen the enthusiasm of at least some blue collar Americans?
It was a powerful moment when Trump hammered Biden in the debates about it and tied it in to his 47 years as a politician. It’s isn’t a major issue all things considered. I’m not sure why you making it one.
