nahhh... we ain’t got the balls our Southern ancestors had.
Funny thing. As a country, I think we’re even more divided now than we were in 1860. Our split then really centered around one, big, glaring issue. Aside from that, we shared a common culture and (for the most part) religion.
You can’t say that of the US today.
And now the democrats have set up a situation with this election that, no matter who is declared the winner, half the country is going to see the result as illegitimate. Fun times ahead :(
