The senate may be lost too. Trump failed to give any speeches on national tv explaining anything, instead relied on twitter and rallies. He failed to arrest anyone on the various crimes committed by the democrats. He was too clever and now a communist pedophile puppet may become president.
Presidents don’t just decide to arrest people just because. He cycled through two AGs that weren’t up to the task, or chose not to care. I fail to see how Trump giving a speech would have changed a single mind. This election outcome was predetermined in 2017 - we all knew it. But POTUS stood alone, with an insubordinate bureaucratic state opposing him every step of the way
