One thing that does seem clear in the Election Day numbers is that the GOP vote came out early but the vote is becoming less Republican (and more indie) over the course of the day.

e.g. in Broward County (the rare FL county where Democrats are winning the Election Day vote)
From 7am to 1030am, the vote was D38/R34/I28 (D +4)
From 1030 to 1230pm, it was D39/R31/I31 (D +8)
From 1230 to 3pm, it was D37/R26/I37 (D +11)

From 3pm to 4pm, Broward was D41/R26/I33 (D +15). So this gap keeps growing.
This does not jive at all with other estimates...
2016 Broward was a D+35 county.
It’s a D+29 county this year so far. That county has to reduce Advantage Trump (6500 now) to 0 and then accumulate up to the current Repub lead to get to 0.
That’s a long road to go.
I saw earlier Miami Dade was only expecting about 200k votes today. Around 2pm it was D+3500 with 80k votes or so. They can run D+15 for the remaining 120k votes and it won’t be enough.
Cryptic from Wasserman. Any more updates from him on this late breaking development?

The FL-GOP’s vice chairman, Christian Ziegler, has posted numbers which include at least one county not being updated on the map that I am looking at. Ziegler shows FL-GOPers up by 179,470. Impressive, but far from surprising.
Wasserman:
Just in...just got a late-breaking Election Day development youre going to want to hear. Stay tuned.
IGNORE. IGNORE.
it was nothing.
Another rather weak 4.7k net gain last update

JanetJanet998, I think joeisdone is not getting the latest and greatest updates. The lead is closer to 190K per several sources (UMichVote, FL-GOP Vice Chairman).
What?!? Who let bc out of the closet before FL polls close??
He is not getting all the counties but that has been consistent all day so when compared to earlier the rate is falling off
I am ignoring the others now and will count them as a bonus later
Broward Dem turnout as of now, 77%. Total Dem registered 623K. 483K voted so far.
Total Broward Dem votes today so far has been 37.5K. That’s 8% of total to date.
80% Dem turnout there would be 15.4K more Dem votes by end of day.

I think you are correct, joeisdone is not getting all the counties updated so it is short...still good data to look at tho.
I think bycomey said for a few hours today he would be relocating his position and not doing full collection/posting.
Ok - I thought he was manually updating Sarasota and Hillsborough during some updates. In any case, your approach is right to see the trend.
