I might get flack for this, but I would love to see Cruz get a crack at the presidency. Most likely, Trump will nominate him for Supreme Court in his next term, and would be a great pick.
I think Cruz has learned quite a bit from Trump over the last 4 years on how to fight back and would help maintain limited government.
Cruz is not very likeable. His actions in 2016 at the convention rule him out. He barely survived the Beto challenge.
I don’t think Cruz has the personality to be a successful presidential candidate. If he really wants to have a positive long term effect on how the direction of this country goes then a USSC appointment is the way to do it. Of course his ego may demand the limelight of a presidential run, which will be one of the reasons he won’t succeed.
I don’t like nor trust Cruz.
NO!!!!
cRuz just needs to stay here, in TX, and work at keeping his Senate seat.
Ted vote-your-conscience Cruz?
Absolutely not; never; no; hell no; not even if hell freezes over!
It’s one thing to fight for the nomination. It’s another thing to pull that stunt when Hillary the-devil-incarnate Clinton is the only alternative to Trump.
As far as I’m concerned, Ted Cruz ended any presidential aspirations he had that very night.
He’s done. Toast. Don’t ever bring it up again.
