This is based on the assumption that registered D's vote for Joe and registered R's vote for the President?

That was earlier. Now Rs are ahead by 9k.

Yes, this is assuming that Rs go for Trump and Ds go for Joe and Is are evenly split. I believe that slightly more Ds will vote for Trump than Rs for Joe.

And I think that the Is will lean towards Trump.
