I have a nice cold bottle of Kölsch (beer from Cologne). It’s waiting for me to drink soon in celebration.

It would be nice to have someone on the ground in Louisville & Indianapolis to get precinct results .... and compare to ‘16.

Probably will put it here. Busy but no line.
30-ish thin woman in front of me in nice black track suit outfit with pink breast cancer survivor logo voted straight ticket GOP.
But...Optical scanner poll official (woman) told her that precinct was DOUBLE turnout from 2016. We were 52-41 Trump in 2016 with Weld nearly polling 5.
DOUBLE. Mrs confirmed same, she overheard.
MONSTER VOTE.

"Are you betting that Trump doesn't do better among black and Hispanic voters this cycle?" I said or implied nothing about my own opinions.
"There is no way he doesn't do better with those two groups and they will almost all be registered democrats. You should go Eeyore somewhere else."
All I've done is correct the factually wrong habit of equating R and D ballots to Trump and Biden votes. That's it, and that is correct.

Biden needs 8.7% of the Independents to catch up with Republicans for a tie.

“Biden needs 8.7% of the Independents to catch up with Republicans for a tie.”
You may wanna consider restating that.
To: IVAXMAN
Biden needs 8.7% of the Independents to catch up with Republicans for a tie.
So the remaining 91.3% would be voting third party?
To: IVAXMAN
Biden needs 8.7% of the Independents to catch up with Republicans for a tie.
And since Trump won 4% 2016 that would be a 12.7% turnaround.
I guess it is possible but I don’t want to believe that will happen. If Trump loses 8% independents in Florida no way he wins the election.

Oh. I see what youre saying. He needs to win the indies by 8.7 right?
To: mmichaels1970
There is concern on Twitter the Republican margin should be 250-300k+ as a margin of safety in case Biden over-performs with Independents.
200K could be exceptionally tight like 2000 537 votes tight. Every thousand we get above 200k gives us a margin of safety.
