One of the most frustrating things about COVID response by the Trump team was the lack of defending their actions. There was a constant bombardment of “Trump is doing nothing” and that argument was often allowed to stand. I kept waiting for them to tout their efforts to streamline getting a vaccine to the public and how they shaved months off the approval process or how they were ensuring that a supply chain would be ready to deliver on Day 1 or how masks were just a bandaid and they were working on a cure, but I never heard them say any of that.

Yes. There were many problems with the PR and providing info about Covid.

1. The first time Fauci opened his yap it was clear he was trying to upstage and denigrate the President. If they had cut him loose then, it wouldn’t have given him the time and opportunity to sabotage the situation.

2. Biden criticized Trump for waiting too long to do something. There’s a timeline clearly showing that istn’t true. Provide date when Trump shut down travel. Provide last date when Biden criticized him as xenophobe. Two dates. Two lines. Easy.
