I served as a GOP poll watcher in NH today.

My small southern NH town this morning had a hundred people in line, waiting to vote outside — at 7am. Very unusual. It’s usually 25.

The Absentee Ballots being processed during the AM were running heavily Dem. But the town clerks told me they had a “big surge” in new voters registering as GOP this summer.

All day today, the in-person voters coming through looked like “regular working class” folks: people like contractors with work boots on. A lot of middle aged men, many wearing USA hats, etc. Moms with kids. Only a few Dem soiboys or girls with the goth look or purple hair appeared in lines.

95% were normal folks.

GOP voters seemed to be going IN PERSON today and showing up big-time.
