What about the protection of the votes if everyone just goes home chain of custody is completely blown!!!
Chain of custody is vitally important.
Well I assume security guards and some election workers will stay at the vote counting sites overnight and secure the ballots and facilities until vote counters return in the morning. They won’t just lock it up and all go home. Some security people will stay there for sure.
